Day 9

Today appears to be a cloudy day. Dave has planned a 9:30 walk about with our friends.
I of course stay back, due to bad knee, and read by the pool. I finish a very enjoyable book, “The Rosie Project” this book has had me chuckling on the beach!

Dave sends me a text that our favorite tall whimsical animal artist is on the Malecón! He has some great options to purchase! I almost booked a flight 2 years ago just to pick up a couple paintings. Last year he was sold out of his long legged animal paintings :(
Dave FaceTimes me the paining  and we choose one (because I can’t walk there) it appears to be of larger size than a couple years ago when we had wished we purchased two. We do have a smaller long legged bird picture in our bathroom we purchased a few years ago. So excited to finally have one of these large dog/cat paintings! I will now be redoing our kitchen seating area 😃

We go to La Playita for lunch, I take a taxi, the others walk via the beach.
The ocean has huge waves today but they are able to make the walk along the beach. We all have fajitas for lunch and a few beverages. I again today notice that after a margarita,  maybe two or equivalent, I can bend my knee! Guess Tequila may  be the answer to the cure for the knee! I may need to find a flask :)
Whale sightings from La Playita restaurant and bar again! I will be disappointed if we don’t get daily sightings!

We taxi back (think ftiends and hubby feel bad for me)
They guys take the bus to go and pick up my MRI results! I ask if they looked at them but Dave replied due to HIPPA they did not! Sweet, but cares here!

We put the doctors interpretation of the MRI into an internet translation, I am a bit upset with the results....complete rupture of the ACL and 4 meniscus tears, one being complete with a chunk of meniscus in the synovial joint cavity. Looks like my knee is a bit messed up.
We walk, I hobble, to have pizza at Los Muertos Brewery for dinner. They have great pizza and I assume great craft beer as I have wine with the pizza.

We stop by Andeles on the way home to dance  but too many people to get in, we will try again!
