Day 3

Woke up to another beautiful sunny day. Had our usual breakfast in the room papaya, banana, toast with peanut butter, then we walked, hobbled our way to Fidencios. Dave decided not to run but go for a good walk today while I’m planted in a beach chair on the beach. I finally find a way to sit comfortably as their low sling style chairs were just not working, too painful to bend my knee so need to keep it straight.

I spend several hours reading and visiting with other beach goers. One lady who lives her 6 months a year, stopped and told me she had a knee problem last year that sounded very similar to what I am experiencing. She went to local doctor, had MRI same day, surgery the next and was back walking 5 miles in 5 days! She was sweet and offered me her knee brace and crutches to use! I thanked her and told her my husband was picking me up a brace. 

We return to our room and I just lounge in the sun on our deck and write yesterday’s blog.

There seems to be an issue with The comforter  that is on our bed, Denise and housekeeping say it is not the right one for our room it goes in the room next door. Who knew we had designated bed covers! They take it off and find a replacement that they claim is still not the right one they will continue to find it. In the meantime I guess they decide it is wrinkled and iron it while on the bed! 

We get dressed for dinner and I put on the brace Dave got me, this might help at least people might understand why I am walking so weirdly :)

We taxi up to Casa Isabel for dinner and are entertained by whales playing in the bay! Guess it is an active whale  year :) Our waiter tonight is Arthuros son, Arthuro came over and greeted us with hugs :) 

I had coconut shrimp, Dave fresh fish of the day which was excellentt.

 We taxi back to our place and play cards. Darn sure wish my knee was better!
