We have been enjoying morning walks and runs. I did notice a couple more Christmas decorations on the Malecon, but most have been taken down. So far every morning there have been 2 possibly 3 cruise ships in port both days. I watch them come in early morning from our balcony.
We had a lovely beach day on Tuesday setting up with our own stuff. Dave was a sweetheart and played waiter, bringing us back lunch from Swell, cheese quesadillas and guacamole along with a margarita! What service!
We cooked dinner tonights, fresh fish, veggies and rice, enjoyed on our balcony watching the sunset and the last cruise ship leave the bay.
Wednesday- We had the most amazing fun day! Love it when we run into fun by chance opportunities. We went for a walk and headed up the island, a group of volunteers have been doing a lot of landscaping, it is lovely.
Coming down the hill from Gringo Gulch we passed and open house sign, the realtor told us to take a look, of course we would love to! For the low price of 1.5 million we can buy a 4 bedroom, 4 plus bath, 3 story house, ocean view, pool and yoga room. It was beautiful.
We walked to La Playita for lunch, this year they don't switch to lunch menu until 1:00, so we had a margarita, oh my they were potent. We enjoyed chicken enchiladas and chicken tacos.
After lunch I suggested we try and find the airbnb we will be staying at our last week in Conchas chinas. We find it and as we are standing looking at the building a couple sees us and starts to talk to us, I say we are renting a unit here in February, they say it is probably their unit. Yep! They invited us in, showed us around the grounds as well as their place. I told they we had really kind of wanted to look at their unit to possibly purchase but by the time I checked on it an offer had been accepted, theirs! They did an amazing job renovating it. It is beautiful. They introduced us to their neighbor, a realtor, who told us about 2 places for sale in the building, we knew about one, the other just came up that day. He showed us pictures and gave us a tour of his place which is next door and he just bought it in December. I said I had not seen it come up for sale, guess it didn't make the market, he bought it right away, dang! it was a sweet little 1 bedroom with killer view! We had the best time chatting with everyone and talking real estate! I did not take any pictures, I will when we stay there!
We made dinner tonight, fish tacos and coleslaw. Once again a beautiful sunset.
