Friday- Tuesday (20th-23rd)

Friday- Cleaning day, We need to finish my puzzle and pick it up before cleaning gal arrives. Finished the puzzle and headed out for a nice walk. Loved the cute Juliet balcony for this pup!

I am feeling 100 percent now! Really no symptoms now. We decided we would get lunch at an outdoor place, where we could be seated far from others. Had my first libation, Sangia, in a week.  Also stopped by my favorite textile store, Casa Oaxaca, and bought two pillow covers for our kitchen couch.

We made dinner at our place, and watched the fireworks from our balcony.

Saturday- Did a morning walk/run and went to the Saturday Farmers Market, I wanted to buy a hand embroidered dress for little June. The vendor does all the embroidery herself. The Market was so busy today, just got the dress and got out of there! We notice each week the Market gets busier and busier, by February we avoid it.

We took our beach chairs and walked down to Conchas Chinas to hang out with Kitty and Jim having lunch at La Playita. I am not thinking it smart yet to have one of their killer margaritas so I ordered a Sangria, it was light and refreshing. I will say the food is really not so good here, we still love it for the view and drinks now. Was funny when we passed someone staying in the condos there they said "I don't get why people love that restaurant" I answered "it's all about the strong margaritas and the view!"

We were not terribly hungry for dinner so just went and got a couple tacos el pastor from Los Molcajetes and shared a piece of yummy decadent cake from the cute coffee shop that is located in the back of the restaurant.

We walked around enjoying the evening sights.

Sunday- Went to the Botanical Gardens with Kitty and Jim today. The orchids were in beautiful bloom. Hiked the Jaguar trail, luckily no jaguars but there was a flock of Chachalaca, a type of small turkey. We also saw some huge beautiful parrots, of course couldn't get a good picture.

We ate lunch at the Hacienda restaurant there. It was packed! We have never seen so many people here, either the crowds are getting huge here in PV or the gardens are getting very popular.

We made dinner in tonight, veggie stir fry topped with garbanzo beans, then went our for some gelato :) Life is good!!!
