Prague - Sept 28

Dave went out and got pastries for breakfast from a different local pastry shop, these were much tastier than the last ones, still contain less sugar and fat than what we are use to, so healthy!

I wanted to go to the train station and purchase our tickets for our trip to Cesky Krumlov as the web site was a little confusing and the train station was not far from us. No pictures of train station other than this adorable little dog who was waiting in line with its owner to purchase tickets also.

We then walked around a bit and came upon a restaurant that looked so inviting we decided it was time for lunch. We both had soup, white bean for me, veggie for Dave and split a pizza. It was so good we made reservations for our last night.

We walked around exploring the city, found a few shops we would have loved to stop into, but it was St Wenceslas Day and most everything was closed. We really liked these paintings. The shop was not open on the weekend and then we were in Cesky Krumlov so we didn't have the opportunity to purchase one, guess we saved some money!

I had booked tickets for a jazz boat cruise on the Vltava River with dinner before we left home. It was a very small boat so not many people, just perfect, the jazz trio were amazing, the food great, the views awesome, we went through locks, and enjoyed chatting a bit with the group at the next table who were all from Staten Island. It was a perfect afternoon/evening event for us.

We enjoyed the evening walk back to our place.
