We set our alarm clock for the first time in 8 days, ugh hard to get up early, 6:30, after a late night!
But was worth it! We had to be at the River Canopy office by 8:30, it was about a 15 minute walk from our place. I had purchased zip line tickets through Cupocity for 1/2 price, Cupocity has some great deals:) we had a blast, 11 lines total! No pictures to post as they will not let you take cameras on the zip lines....probably so you will buy photos from them! At $10.00 a picture, and not so good, we did not purchase, we have the memory! The lines were thrilling, but for me the most thrilling was the mule ride at the end!!!!! This was a first for me! A fear for me much larger than a zip line! And I survived!!!
Stopped at the produce stand for a few items, then made lunch at our place, some yummy BLT's with cucumber, avocado and chihuahua cheese (that is what I call it) and did some laundry.
Headed to Casa Isabel for happy hour and we were keeping our fingers crossed that we could get in for dinner. We were greated by our buddy Arturo! Our favorite waiter and actor! Several years ago Dave hired Arturo to drive us around and act for a project he was working on. Always so good to see him and yes they could get us in for dinner without a reservation :) had a front row seat for a beautiful sunset from Casa Isabel. Arturo treated us to a fabulous Mexican Coffee, life is good :)
Well except for the scary cockroach I found in the bathroom while brushing my teeth tonight! Dave was a hero and killed it :)
