Our morning view, drinking coffee and having breakfast. I could really get used to this :)
Dave made a purchase from Willy on the beach today, Willy actually hand carved and paints these puppets! We had lunch on the beach at our favorite place, we had heard about Charlie the tee shirt vendor who plays cribbage, there he was right in front of us playing cribbage with some Canadians (just a guess!!) he played in a cribbage tournament with our neighbors the other day and won!
The above pictures are just scenes from a day at the beach. Vendors selling fish on a stick, candy, fruit, styrofoam looking snacks, foot massages, and wares of all kinds.
We took a bus to Pitillal to try and find that special tequila that Dave is on a search for. No luck, but we did find ourselves at this quaint church and went in to be marked by the cross! I remember a few years ago we were in PV on Ash Wednesday and went to Our Lady of Guadalajara to receive the ashes.
On our way home we got off the bus at Costco, still in search of this special tequila, no luck, but kind of fun to go into a Mexican Costco, and as luck would have it we hit sample time :)We had a lovely and tasty dinner at Archie's Wok, the original Archie was John Hustons chef, now as I understand it the restaurant is still ran by family members.
You two are looking so relaxed and happy! I bet even a month is going to seem too short!
ReplyDeleteSTAY!!! Not really, as I miss you too much!
