Day 10

Slow start today for Dave, he was feeling a bit yucky but rallied by noon. I went for a morning run, felt extra hot, tough run. Saw some Dolphins in the bay while having breakfast, first I have seen so far. We just made lunch at our place then spent the early afternoon on the pool deck alternating between reading, swimming and visiting with other guests.  I finally finished my first book! Highly recommend it, The Unlikely Pilgramage Of Harold Fry, should have brought some Kleenex to the pool though!
We caught a bus to go on an adventure to find a specific tequila that Dave is looking for, no luck but got a lead :)
Took the bus back and wandered around the Gringo Gulch area, first five pictures are of this area, and the bridge between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's places. The current owner is doing a big refurbishing project on it. The tile picture is on Richard Burtons house, which depicts its original state.
We went to dinner at Chez Elena, which is the hotel that the cast and crew stayed during the filming of Night Of The Iguana, Tuesday is 1/2 price entrees, we were lucky to get in, food was excellent as well as the service, ate early and made it up to the roof top at Chez Elena for sunset. Joyce, the owner was there greeting everyone, she purchased the place in 1980.  There are rooms to rent, they are simple but they have a lot a repeat customers who just love it there.
We walked down to the malecon and along the pier where we had a nice view of the activities along the beach including mariachis and fire dancer. Was nice to have a relaxing day after a couple busy ones :)
Oh, and Kitty the picture of the cruise ship heading out I took for you!!!
