Montreal

We spent 3 wonderful days in Montreal, the city is comprised of lots of little neighborhoods, each with a distinctive feel. We wandered around and explored as many as we could, Old Montreal, Old Port,  Mt Royal, Little Italy, The Village, Mile End. Our hotel provided a boxed breakfast delivered to the room each morning.

Our first morning we wandered around then took a subway to the Mile End to find what is suppose to be the best bagel in Montreal, which are a little different than a NY style one, also sesame seed is the go to served with butter not cream cheese, although we did purchase a guacamole cream cheese mixture to eat with our bagel and called it lunch.

We then walked to the Jean-Talon Market because we love local markets, this one was huge.

We then took a bus to Mt Royal to go to St Josephs Oratory. We lucked out that there was an organ concert while we were there put on by a famous organ music writer. The views were amazing and quite a story about this place, check out the story. Last picture his the heart of Brother Andre Bessette who was known for healing people.

We had a delicious burger for dinner then walked around our neighborhood taking in the beautiful evening
