We first headed out for a walk, headed towards the Malecón then up the Isle Cuale and across the swinging bridge onto Guadalajara pharmacy for supplies. Darn no fresh pastries coming out of their oven!
Love the mosaic work they have been adding at the park.
After breakfast and showers we headed to the beach, event though it was noon by the time we got there we were still a few open spots at Fedencios, in a couple weeks that won’t be the case. We spent 3 hours there drinking margaritas, eating cheese quesadillas, walking the beach, wading and visiting with a couple of fun ladies I see every year here.
We head for pool time and a swim at our place then get ready for dinner, We decide to go to Casa Isabel, We walk up there via the staircase by our Villa and along the highway which isn’t the most pleasant way but the fastest, we don’t t want to miss happy hour, We arrive with 15 minutes to spare :)
They give us a nice table by the balcony, I have gin and tonic Debbie Rum punch, or Ron punch as they seem to call or spell it here :)
We watch the sunset and listen to Jose on the harp, there is a large group of young families from Montreal with 9 kids in total ages 1 to 8. They were all well behaved and enjoyed dancing and watching Jose! What a delight. I had coconut shrimp, Debbie a steak, both were delicious.
We walked back down the hill and enjoyed walking along the Malecón and the square in front of the church were there was a DJ with lots of people of all ages dancing. It is always very active with locals on Sunday nights. We head back and are in bed by 10:30.I reported to Debbie that she did over 22,000 steps according to my fit bit today :)
We had a lovely day in paradise!
