28 Days in PV

It has been a few years since I started this blog when I first went to Puerto Vallarta for 28 days. Since then due to other trips and life we have gone for shorter trips. The last time I did 28 days Dave did the first part of trip with me, he left, then I was joined by my mom, sister and sister-in-law. I truly enjoyed that trip, actually I have enjoyed all 14 trips :)   I know each day may look the same to others but for us each day is special, guess that is why we keep coming back. I am going to try and keep up the blog as it is just a nice journal for me, so if you are following along it might not be that exciting! Dave and I were just in PV 2 1/2 weeks ago for nephews beautiful wedding, he married a lovely, wonderful gal.  I did fall behind on the blog, darn it.  Wedding was absolutely amazing at a beautiful location in Bucerias with a fun and interesting group of people.  If I hadn't been so busy with the holiday after getting home I would have added it after the fact, but can't insert after I post blogs or it is out of order.

This year I will start the trip with my sister.  We have never had just a sister trip just the two of us! And to make this extra special she turned 60 today....so we will be celebrating a day late but doesn't get any better than a warm weather toes in the sand celebration. I'm sure she won't complain :) Dave will join me when she goes home then we have good friends coming down for 1 week.

Looking forward to warmth, humidity and sun. Although I can't complain, so far our winter has been mild, as long as there is no snow and ice I can tolerate it, maybe it will change, not that I am hoping for that for those who are home!

I am packed into 1 carry on bag, only because I left 1 suitcase there a couple of weeks ago to have held until my return.  One of the many reasons we love Villa Olivia and don't want to give up our room, already on their books for 2020!

I know I will miss my grandson (and of course his parents and our other son and wife) I was glad I got to spend the last 2 days giving him lots of snuggles. And there is face time....

Flight leaves at 5:00 AM, ugh, same as it did a few weeks ago.....but knowing I will have a margarita in hand and toes in the sand end of day celebrating my sister's birthday makes it worth it!

Tomorrow I will be enjoying this :)
