Day 6

Woke up to a cloudy, hot, muggy morning. I decided it would make for a miserable run, Dave agreed, so it was a leisurely coffee and breakfast on the patio morning again for me :) I could easily get use to mornings like this! 

We were eventually joined by Jared and Margaret for our simple breakfast on the deck that we share with a couple of rooms. Our neighbors on one side were having breakfast at the other table, they cook most of their meals, and they all look and smell incredible :) Last night was a curry black bean chili with the most amazing aroma! They are here for a couple of months.... we will get to be envious of more of their meals!

We all went separate ways for the morning then joined up for a beach day at Fedencios. By then the sky cleared and we had a beautiful day for the beach.

This group of guys gathers to play ukuleles  once a week at Fedencios, they were a hoot to listen to.

We all parted ways for the afternoon to shop and explore. Jared and Margaret whipped up some yummy guacamole for an impromptu happy hour on the balcony.

We had asked Denise to make us reservations at a specific restaurant a few days ago but she said the last time she was there is was just so,so. She really thought we needed to take the kids to Cuale Paradise, so three days later here we are again! (Well Dave and I anyway) It really is a beautiful place...once you get use to the bats!!!! And I mean HUGE bats that come out once the sun sets. Guess there must be lots of yummy insects along the river :)
