Linda and Andy had an eventful night too! At around 3:00 AM someone really did enter their room with an overnight bag! They had not locked their door and they think someone just had the wrong room! Think he is in the room 3 doors down now...weird because this is a secure building he could not have just walked away n st 3:00 am...who knows! We skipped the morning run so we could go out for breakfast at Cafe de Olla and from there went to the Saturday farmers market where we bought some ground organic coffee, a mini berry pie for later and a really dense losf of some very healthy looking homemade bread to have for breakfasts. Of course we chatted with Chantel (gal from my home town who lives here full time and sells her beautiful prices of hand made jewelry at the market)
Spent a few hours on the beach enjoying lunch and reading.
Took a swim at our roof top pool and was so happy to meet Simon, the owners son who lives in Montreal and does all the reservations for Villa Olivia, I have had many email communications with him! I am sure get thinks I am a real pain :) very nice man with s lovely wife and three cute girls and wow can Simon cook, had racks of ribs going on the BBQ, home made sauces blending and veggies grilling, there are many members of the owners family here for the holidays and looks like they are going to be having a wonderful feast tonight!
We went to Adobe for dinner on recommendation from another hotel guest. Adobe is a very small family ran restaurant that had been open for two years, had exceptional service and delicious food. And very inexpensive, fillet mignon or coconut shrimp for around ten dollars (if that) and they brought us all a little appetizer taco.
