I have procrastinated finishing this blog, time to do it before we leave for Kauai in a few days! I have been spending a lot of time trying to finalize trip details for an Alaska girls cruise I am organizing with my mom, sister and sister-in-law, as well as doing some research on Kauai as we have never been there. The rest of the blog will not be very detailed!
How we spent our last few days in the Zona Romantica area before moving to Velas Vallarta in the Marina:
We enjoyed dinner on our balcony, AKA pool deck, we absolutely loved this unit at Bella Loma, too bad it is for sale. Dinner was accompanied by some very fun Mexican music the two young couples were playing. This small condo building has either owners staying here who rarely use the pool area or very short term guest who seem to stay a week or less. Much different vibe than what we have been use to over the last years at Villa Olivia where guests stayed for months.
We meet up with June and Richard for dinner, another Canadian couple we made friends with during our years at Villa Olivia. They were staying in the Versalles area so we met at Barrio Bistro.
We enjoyed sunsets from various vantage points.
Enjoyed walks along the Malecon and festivities around the area.
Made the move to Velas Vallarta in the Marina area and enjoyed a few days there by the pool, beach as well as gathering groceries and taking walks before the family arrived.
