Grand Cayman

The tenders are being lowered and we now have a view :)

After a quick breakfast we caught the first tender to the island, go us!

We take a multi person taxi to Seven Mile beach, 5 dollars per person, buses are half the price but taxis are right here and we decide what’s an extra couple bucks!
We pay 5 dollars each for lounge chairs at Calico Jacks. Even though it is early, before 9 am it is getting busy, there are 5 ships in port today.

We have free WiFi here so Dave spends some time working.

Dave’s office :)

We spend about 5 hours here walking, swimming, floating. The water is so nice :) we  also have a couple beverages.

It is very crowded here today, next time we will check out Hemingway’s closer to the port, we walked towards there and it was much less crowded.  We decide to head back to the ship for lunch with plans to try and head out again to explore the port town.
We decide there is not enough time to make it worth another tender ride to go back into town so we just walk laps on the promanade deck and enjoy the beautiful views.
I tried to show all the ships in port from the Crows Nest, it was an amazing view in person :)

We enjoyed another happy hour at the Ocean Bar, this time we sat at a view table so we could enjoy the sail away view. We also played cards :)
We played some ping pong while waiting for dinner, we had made reservations for 7:30 seating. We really enjoyed our wait staff tonight, think the service is better late because they aren’t so rushed, they are just so busy at the earlier seatings.

After dinner we went to the juggler who was at the main stage, we didn’t stay long, just didn’t find him funny or very good. So we head to the B.B. King Blues Club to listen to the 8 member blues group again, they are so good, they are definitely the entertainment stars on this cruise! We only listen to one set tonight, we are tired! It was another great day :)
